This app (ALC) helps you to get an idea about how alcohol consumption (drinking) is influencing your body and especially your blood composition. Simply track your drinks on any occasion (e.g. Party) and watch your blood alcohol level increasing, but keep within reasonable limits! Alcohol Level Coach tries to imitate the whole process of alcohol absorption and takes several factors into account: Personal details (e.g. weight, height, age and gender), drinking speed, state of stomach, delay of absorption and custom drink mixtures. Altogether the resulting alcohol level provided by ALC should be a reasonable, but still theoretical estimate of your actual alcohol level.
Alcohol consumption on a regular basis can be interpreted as addiction. This apps` goal is to raise your awareness for excessive alcohol consumption and its consequences. Find out what impact a certain amount of alcohol can have on your body and how long it takes to get rid of this poisonous liquid. Always keep in mind that blood alcohol values provided by this app are based on computation and therefore they must not be interpreted as reliable evidence for any purpose.
The purpose of ALC is to provide a theoretical alcohol level tester whereas other alcohol testing devices like professional breathalyser or an actual blood alcohol test will provide a more precise result of your alcohol level. Whenever you are comparing the results of ALC against a breathalyser, make sure you read the instructions of the breathalyser first. Usually you have to stop drinking for a couple of minutes before using a breathalyser in order to not distort the measurement.
